<p>Provided are an airbag and an airbag device which have excellent air-tightness and gas discharge responsiveness and which are efficient. An airbag (1) has an opening (11) which is formed in the surface of the airbag (1), a protrusion (12) which is disposed so as to communicate with the opening (11), a vent hole (13) which is formed in the protrusion (12), a strap (14) which has one end connected to the protrusion (12) and the other end connected to a retainer (3), and a slit (15) which guides the strap (14) to the inside of the airbag (1). The opening (11) is formed only on the center side of the vehicle. The vent hole (13) is disposed in a region in which the protrusion (12) and the airbag (1) are superposed on one another when the protrusion (12) is pulled by the strap (14). The strap (14) is configured so that the strap (14) pulls the protrusion (12) to the side opposite the occupant when the airbag (1) is inflated and expanded.</p> |
