<p>The fuel injector has a controller (8) which drives a PCV (3) and a PRV (6) selectively. The PCV controls the ejection amount of a high pressure pump to discharge fuel at high pressure. A PRV reduces the pressure of the fuel discharged by the high pressure pump. A power supply voltage detecting unit (28) detects voltage applied to the PCV and the PRV. A ground determining unit determines ground at a portion downstream of the PCV, when certain voltage is applied to the PCV and the PRV, in a state in which the PCV and the PRV are not selected.</p> |
