<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery control device allowing use of an appropriate SOC (State-Of-Charge) estimate value by calibrating the SOC estimate value, on a battery having such a characteristic that, despite a self deterioration degree, a graph representing a relation between the SOC value and an open voltage value passes a specific steady point, and to provide a battery control method allowing the use of the appropriate SOC value by calibrating the SOC estimate value. <P>SOLUTION: A battery control device M1 includes: SOC estimate value calculating means for sequentially calculating SOC estimate values SE on a battery 1 that has a negative plate 30 containing negative-electrode active material particles 32 consisting of graphite, and has a characteristic that, despite a deterioration level, a relational graph of the SOC value S and an open voltage value VO passes a steady point A; open voltage detecting means for detecting a value of the open voltage; open voltage value adjusting means for adjusting the value of the open voltage to a steady-point open voltage value VA; and SOC calibrating means for calibrating the SOC estimate value of the battery adjusted to the steady-point open voltage value, to an unsteady-point charge state value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
