Provided is a hot water supply device, which includes a tank and a heat pump, capable of ensuring user convenience and more increasing construct ability. The disclosed hot water supply device comprises: a heat pump including a compressor, a condenser, an expanding device, and an evaporator and heating water by radiation from refrigerant in the condenser; a tank having capacity of 25 liter or less and storing water heated by the heat pump; and a control unit controlling the heat pump. When the water is heated by the heat pump, the compressor is started in a first starting manner to quickly increase the number of a rotation if the stopping time of the compressor is below the reference time. If the stopping time of the compressor is over the reference time, the compressor is started in a second starting manner to slowly increase the number of the rotation. |
