PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid oxide fuel battery cell in which breakage at an end part can be suppressed.SOLUTION: A solid oxide fuel battery cell 10 comprises: a power generation element part 9 comprising a solid electrolyte layer 4 sandwiched between a fuel electrode layer 3 and an oxygen electrode layer 6; and an interconnector 8 electrically connected to the fuel electrode layer 3 or the oxygen electrode layer 6 of the power generation element part 9, and performs power generation using fuel gas and oxygen-containing gas. In the solid oxide fuel battery cell 10, when viewed from the direction orthogonal to a cross section along the direction where the fuel gas or the oxygen-containing gas of the solid oxide fuel battery cell 10 flows, an intermediate layer 7 is provided between the interconnector 8 and the fuel electrode layer 3 or the oxygen electrode layer 6, and a thickness t2 of the intermediate layer 7 at an end part of the solid oxide fuel battery cell 10 is thicker than a thickness t1 of the intermediate layer 7 at the center part of the solid oxide fuel battery cell 10. Accordingly, breakage at the end part of the solid oxide fuel battery cell 10 can be suppressed. |
