<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel zerumbone derivative that can be used for a utility chiral source; and a production method of the same.SOLUTION: It is found out that zerumbone is performed by epoxidation by m-chloro perbenzoic acid under the presence of ethyl acetate, thereby a racemic body 6,7-monoepoxyzerumbone is obtained, the racemic body 6,7-monoepoxyzerumbone is reacted under the presence of LiAlH, and a racemic body 6,7-monoepoxyzerumbol is obtained. Moreover, it is found out that the obtained 6,7-monoepoxyzerumbol is performed by ester transfer reaction with isopropenyl acetate under the presence of lipase, thereby (1R)-6,7-monoepoxyzerumbol that has optical activity and an acetic ester (1S) thereof are obtained. Further, it is found out that the (1R)-6,7-monoepoxyzerumbol having optical activity is oxidized, thereby novel 6,7-monoepoxyzerumbone having optical activity is obtained.</p> |
