<p>Emulsions of high viscosity silicones are prepared by emulsifying a lower viscosity condensable silicone with a partial phosphate ester surfactant, and ripening the emulsion to obtain a higher viscosity silicone dispersed phase without generation of objectional amounts of octaorganocyclotetrasiloxanes. The emulsions are well suited for body care products.</p> |
