<p>The present invention relates to an SAS data converting system which includes a main board which is connected to at least one IDE hard disk, at least one SATA hard disk, at least one SCSI hard disk, and at least one SAS hard disk, an identifying unit which identifies the kind of the hard disks, an SAS conversion board which is composed of a capacity determining unit which determines each storage capacity of the hard disks identified by the identifying unit and a conversion unit which performs a conversion operation according to the order of a small amount of stored data after the amount of data stored in each hard disk checked by the capacity determining unit, a raid controller which receives the converted SAS data and copies and backs up the data in the SAS hard disks, an MCP which recognizes the SAS hard disks to be copied and backed up as one main hard disk and at least one sub hard disk, and a hot swap controller which recognizes one of the sub hard disks as one main hard disk if an error is generated in the main hard disk. Thereby, the present invention copies and backs up data stored in the IDE hard disks, an SATA hard disk, an SCSI hard disk, or the SAS hard disk in the SAS hard disk with a high speed and a high stability.</p> |
