<p>A cold punched wire having excellent low temperature toughness and a method for manufacturing the same are disclosed. According to one aspect of the present invention, the cold punched wire having excellent low temperature toughness comprises 0.2-0.4 wt% of C, 0.1-1.0 wt% of Mn, 0.2-2.0 wt% of Co, 0.5-3.0 wt% of Ni, 0.02-0.04 wt% of Al, 0.035 wt% or less of P, 0.040 wt% or less of S, 0.005 wt% or less of O, 50 ppm or less of N, 0.001-0.003 wt% of B, and the balance of Fe and other inevitable impurities. A free nitrogen amount is not more than 10 ppm and a microstructure is a ferrite and perlite composite material.</p> |
