POLYMER MATRIX COMPOSITE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a polymer matrix composite material. The method includes the steps of: inserting graphite into a container; separating graphene from the graphite by applying mechanical energy from the outside to the container; obtaining composite powder with a structure in which the graphene encloses polymer powder by mixing the polymer powder in the container, applying mechanical energy to the container, and then mixing the graphene and the polymer powder; and producing a bulk processing material by integrating the composite powder. Graphenes, enclosing the polymer, are connected with one another to form a network structure.
