<p>The present invention relates to an electronic control unit to detect a breakdown of a motor position sensor. The present invention provides an electronic control unit to detect the breakdown of a motor position sensor comprising: a steering angle information receiving part for receiving, from a steering angle sensor placed on an input axis, steering angle information which is information on an absolute rotation angle of the input axis with respect to a steering axis including the input axis, an output axis, and a torsion bar connected to one end of the input axis and one end of the output axis; a steering torque information receiving part to receive, from a torque sensor, steering torque information including a relative rotation angle of the input axis and the relative rotation angle of the output axis; a motor axis rotation angle information receiving part to receive, from a motor position sensor, motor axis rotation angle information which is information on the rotation angle of the motor axis of an electric motor mechanically connected to the steering axis; and a sensor breakdown detecting part to detect whether or not the motor axis rotation angle information is normal, using the steering angle information, the steering torque information, and the motor axis rotation angle information.</p> |
