<p>Disclosed is a battery cooling fan control technology for an environmentally friendly vehicle which controls the driving of the battery cooling fan while the temperature rise acceleration is set as a variable to prevent the battery cooling fan from being unnecessarily operated. The present invention comprises the steps of: monitoring the temperature of a battery to determine whether the cooling fan operation temperature has been reached when the ignition-on is detected; calculating a temperature rise rate to determine whether the temperature rise exceeds a predetermined limit when the temperature of the battery has reached the cooling fan operation temperature; calculating the temperature rise acceleration to determine whether the temperature rise acceleration exceeds a reference acceleration when the temperature rise rate of the battery is lower than the predetermined limit; and determining that a temperature change is not abrupt and in a stable state to stop operating the cooling fan when the temperature rise acceleration of the battery is lower than the set reference acceleration.</p> |
