SPRING SEAT FOR FUEL INJECTION PUMP

The present invention relates to a spring seat installed inside a fuel injection pump. The spring seat coupled to a lower end part of a plunger installed inside the fuel injection pump to support a spring. The spring seat has a coupling hole, wherein a lower end of the plunger is fitted, penetrating the center thereof. One side unit of the coupling hole has an insertion hole to enable the lower end of the plunger to be inserted in the side of the plunger and enables the insertion hole to be opened. A riblet structure where a plurality of grooves are continuously formed to minimize a shear force by high viscosity fuel remained between an inner circumferential surface of the coupling hole and an outer circumferential surface of the plunger is installed on the inner circumferential surface of the coupling hole. Therefore, the spring seat for a fuel injection pump is capable of preventing a malfunction due to the high viscosity fuel during reactivation of an engine.
