<p>The present invention relates to a strain of Lactobacillus plantarum (L. plantarum) with excellent folic acid productivity. The strain of the present invention has: excellent folic acid productivity; activity of inhibiting growth of bacteria causing food poisoning; gall resistance; and acid resistance. Moreover, the strain exhibits excellent fermentation characteristic of producing acid and thus can be used as a starter for manufacturing fermented soy milk products.</p>
