The present invention relates to a fixating device to maintain and fixate an open state of a window and, more specifically, relates to a window fixating device including a connecting member composed of a first connecting bar connected to a lower horizontal window frame and a second connecting bar connected to the bottom surface of the lower horizontal window frame; a lock device installed in the first connecting bar on one side of a first rotary shaft connected to one end of the first connecting bar and one end of the second connecting bar including a rotary shaft to be folded, and being taken in and out from a locking groove formed on the second connecting bar on one side of the first rotary shaft; a window-frame fixing member joined to the end of the first connecting bar, forming a second rotary shaft, and fixated to the window frame; and a window frame fixing member forming a third rotary shaft by being joined to the other end of the second connecting bar connected to the first connecting bar and fixated to a lower horizontal window frame. The present invention is capable of maintaining the open state of the sliding window by easily pivot-rotating the first and second connecting bars, or extending the first and second connecting bars using the lock device; thereby preventing accidents and reducing unnecessary noise by preventing a sliding window from being arbitrarily closed due to wind. In addition, the present invention is capable of improving the appearance of the window by not exposing the window fixating device when closing the window as the window fixating device is connected to the window frame and the bottom surface of the lower horizontal frame.
