Method for evaluating origin of an infection by pathogenic bacteria in a penaeid shrimp, comprises quantification of messenger RNA (mRNA) of the shrimp in hemocytes taken from animal to be tested 6-72 hours after infection. Independent claims are included for: (1) a reagents kit for implementation of the method in which the quantification of transcripts made by quantitative reverse transcriptase PCR, and further comprises buffers and reagents necessary for amplification of the reaction and the detection of amplification products, at least a pair of specific initiators of mRNAs to be measured; and (2) a DNA chip for allowing the implementation of the method comprises a specific probe of shrimp mRNA, preferably a specific probe of mRNA-peptide rich in proline and cysteine.
|
