The present invention provides a location guide system and a location guide method using a transparent navigation device comprising: a camera module part mounted on a vehicle to photograph actual objects along a traveling path of the vehicle; a navigation device installed in a vehicle to provide various types of information necessary for drive to a driver based on a received GPS information and a stored map information; a matching part to receive a camera image information from a camera module part, receiving map information and GPS information from the navigation device and matching the received camera image information with the map information and the GPS information; and a head-up display to receive the matching data of the camera image information, the map information, and the GPS information from the matching part and displaying the same on a transparent or translucent display surface. According to the location guide system and the location guide method using a transparent navigation device of the present invention, a more realistic and accurate driving information can be provided, a driver can easily and accurately find a destination, and the safety of the drive can be improved as driving information necessary for drive is provided based on actual objects shown in the actual-object image of the camera image information by matching the camera image information obtained by photographing actual objects along the traveling path of the vehicle with the map information stored in the navigation device and the received GPS information, and the destination displayed on the actual-object image of the camera image information when the driver reaches the destination.
