The purpose of the present invention is to provide a lamp system for a vehicle capable of changing and adding a function of a lamp after purchasing a vehicle. The lamp system for a vehicle (1) comprises: a lamp unit (10); an automotive memory means (4) storing first recognition information; a communication unit (5) communicated with an external memory means (20, 30) storing a second recognition information corresponding to the first recognition information and a functional information on a function of the lamp unit (10) which a user selected, wherein the functional information is related to the second recognition information; and a control unit controlling the operation of the lamp (10). The communication unit (5) obtains the information related to the second recognition information corresponding to the first recognition information from the external memory means (20, 30). The control unit (3) operates a specific function by operating the lamp unit (10) based on the functional information. |
