The present invention relates to a method to support and reinforce a transverse structure characterized by manufacturing a pair of lateral walls (300) spaced away from each other at an interval in a longitudinal direction of the transverse structure (10) on a lower side of the transverse structure (10), arranging both longitudinal ends of a prefabricated block assembly (200) manufactured by assembling a plurality of precast concrete blocks (210) to mutually be connected in the longitudinal direction, on the upper parts of the lateral walls (300) respectively on the lower side of the transverse structure (10) while the block assembly (200) forms an arch shape by being lifted, and supporting an underside of the transverse structure (10) by filling a backfill material (500) in a space between the upper part of the block assembly (200) arranged in the lower side of the transverse structure (10) and the transverse structure (10).
