<p>The present invention relates to a system and a method for providing location information service whereby, more specifically, quantitative and intuitive location information can be shared between registered members in a user group around a reference object, which can be appointed. The system includes: a plurality of wireless terminals which set the user group and register members, who share the location information, in the user group; and a location information service server that registers the members upon a member registration request from the wireless terminals, receives the location information from the wireless terminals, and provide information, including the distance from a reference member or from reference destination, the moving direction, and access to the reference member or the reference destination, to the wireless terminals.</p> |
