Provided is an optical anisotropic film having high Δn and excellent optical properties. Provided is a method for manufacturing an optical anisotropic film performing process (A) and (B) of (A) coating a compostion for forming an optical anisotropic film including a polymerizable liquid crystal compound having a maximum absorption wavelength in a range of 250-379 nm, a solvent, and a polymerization initiator on a base material; and (B) radiating light haivng wavelength range of less than 250 nm, which is a light having wavelength 200-500 nm to the coated composition for forming an optical anisotropic film. |
