DIFFUSION LENS AEEMBLY AND LIGHT EMITTING DEVICE COMPRISING THE SAME

Provided is a diffusion lens assembly. The diffusion lens assembly according to an embodiment of the present invention diffuses light emitted from a light emitting device. The diffusion lens assembly has a cross section of bilateral symmetry based on the reference light axis of the diffusion lens assembly and includes a first lens surface which faces the light emitting device and receives light emitted from the light emitting device; and a second lens surface which emits light received from the first lens surface. When &thgr;1 is defined as an angle between the reference light axis and incoming light which is emitted from the light emitting device to the first lens surface and &thgr;4 is defined as an angle between the reference light axis and outgoing light which is emitted from the second lens surface after the incoming light enters the first lens surface, the first and second lens surfaces satisfy &thgr;4<&thgr;1 for at least a part of light which is emitted from the light emitting device to the first lens surface.
