A portable apparatus and a method for displaying the screen thereof are provided. Specifically, provided are a portable apparatus displaying a time line region including a time line and an application screen including an event region; and a method for displaying the screen thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the portable apparatus comprises: a time line region including a time line displaying event time which is separated, having an interval as same as the time difference between the current time and the event time; and an application screen including an event region displaying event information corresponding to the event time.
