Disclosed are a camera for measuring a depth image and a method for measuring a depth image using the same. The camera for measuring a depth image according to an embodiment of the present invention uses time of flight (TOF), comprising: a lighting device emitting pattern light to a subject; a filter reducing optical noise included in the light reflected from the subject; and an image sensor providing a depth image of the subject by collecting the light introduced through the filter. The lighting device may include light source and a pattern light generator changing the light emitted from the light source into the pattern light. The filter may include a band pass filter and a light modulator. The pattern light generator may be a diffractive optical element or a refractive optical element.
