The design is the features of shape, configuration, pattern and ornament of the CLOSURE FOR A CONTAINER as shown in solid lines in the drawings. The portions shown in stippled lines do not form part of the design. The most significant features are the following: (A) a base which includes (1) a bottom portion that has an oval plan shape, (ii) tapers inwardly with increasing height, and (ii) is lower at the front, and (2) an upper portion that (i) extends from the bottom portion, (ii) is lower at the front, (iii) tapers inwardly at a greater rate than does the bottom portion, and (iv) is recessed laterally inwardly in the front; and (B) a closed lid projecting upwardly from the upper portion of the base; the lid (1) extending lower in the front, (2) being recessed laterally inwardly in the front where it meets the front of the base upper portion, (3) projecting laterally outwardly with increasing height away from where the lid meets the front of the base upper portion; and (4) having a flat top surface.Drawings of the design are included wherein:FIGURE 1 is an isometric view taken from the top front and right side of a CLOSURE FOR A CONTAINER in the closed condition;FIGURE 2 is another isometric view thereof rotated about 180° from the view shown in FIGURE 1;FIGURE 3 is a top plan view thereof;FIGURE 4 is an isometric view thereof taken from the top right side;FIGURE 5 is an isometric view thereof taken from the top left side;FIGURE 6 is a front elevational view thereof;FIGURE 7 is a rear elevational view thereof; andFIGURE 8 is a right side elevational view thereof, the left side elevational view thereof being a mirror image.
