The present invention relates to a booster pump system. The booster pump system comprises: an air intake manifold having an inner passage through which fluid flows; a plurality of pumps installed in the air intake manifold to discharge the fluid existed in the inner passage to a discharge manifold; and an air collection unit installed in the rear end of the air intake manifold based on the flowing direction of the fluid and collecting air to prevent the inflow of the air flowing in the inner passage into the pumps. The ceiling surface of the air intake manifold is obliquely formed such that the rear end of the ceiling surface can be higher than the front end of the ceiling surface based on the flowing direction of the fluid to flow the air into the air collection unit. According to the present invention, the booster pump system can prevent the inflow of the air, received in the manifold when initially operated, to the pumps by having the air collection unit to collect and discharge the air existing in the air intake manifold; thereby improving the pumping efficiency of the pumps. |
