Disclosed is a method for manufacturing a carbon block for a water purifying filter, capable of increasing calcium content of water by melting calcium in the water uniformly. The method according to the present invention comprises the steps of: impregnating nano silver and calcium powder to a binder; mixing the binder and activated carbon; and extruding a carbon block by heating and pressurizing the mixed binder and activated carbon. In the step of impregnating, 3000-8000 ppm of nano silver and calcium powder are uniformly mixed and impregnated, and the binder has an ultra high molecular weight of 2000000-10000000. Therefore, during the manufacturing process, breakdown or damage on the calcium powder can be prevented by compression molding the carbon block raw material in the state the carbon block raw material is heated at approximately 130-150°C after manufacturing the carbon block raw material by mixing the activated carbon and the binder having an ultra high molecular weight, impregnated with the nano silver substance and the calcium powder. |
