The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus of transmitting pilot signals for a frequency shared ground wave broadcasting in a single frequency network. The method of transmitting broadcasting signals comprises: producing broadcasting signals including pilot signals arranged in a physical layer frame based on group identification (ID) defined by broadcasting services; and receiving the produced broadcasting signals. The positions of the pilot signals arranged in the physical layer frame are different in each group ID. According to the present invention, in a frequency shared ground wave broadcasting system, even in the case of transmitting broadcasting signals to other transmitting apparatus in a single frequency network, each pilot signal from each broadcasting signals received by a receiving apparatus is not overlapped, which allows the receiving apparatus to distinguish and demodulate the signals from each broadcasting. In addition, the demodulation of each broadcasting signal is possible in the situation of receiving multiple frequency shared ground wave broadcasting signals at the same time.
