A mobile terminal according to the present invention comprises: a touch screen for displaying information; a touch input unit for receiving touch input by a user outside of the touch screen; and a control unit controlling at least one main menu to be displayed nearby the touch point of a first pointer when touch input of first and second touch pointers is inputted in the touch input unit, and controlling at least one sub menu belonging to the selected main menu corresponding to the touch point of the first touch pointer to be displayed nearby the touch point of the second touch pointer.
