The method for controlling object motion using hovering according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the following steps of; recognizing at least one mobile object proximal to a touch panel through a system for controlling object motion using hovering; identifying the moving object according to the proximity of the mobile object to the touch panel; detecting a strength of the force to be given to the moving object based on the distance between the touch panel and the recognized mobile object; and performing operation of the moving object according to the detected strength of the force.
