Provided is an online product transaction method. The product transaction method according to one embodiment of the present invention enables a seller terminal to transmit product information including text information of a product and multimedia link information to a transaction server; enables a transaction server to store the product information in a product database; and enables the transaction server to transmit the product information stored in the product database in response to a product information request by a purchaser terminal. In addition, the product transaction method enables a multimedia server to transmit multimedia data corresponding to the product to a purchaser terminal in response to a connecting request for the multimedia link from the purchaser terminal. Following, the purchaser terminal transmits purchase determination information for the product to the transaction server when the purchase terminal displays the multimedia data or the product information on a display part. Thus, the product transaction method provides search convenience to a purchaser and reduces communications traffic.
