The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a light-emitting diode including a method for forming a phosphor layer pattern by aerosol deposition and to a light-emitting diode including a phosphor layer pattern formed thereby. The method for manufacturing a light-emitting diode according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: preparing a light-emitting diode chip; changing the surface roughness of at least part of one surface of the light-emitting diode chip; and forming a phosphor layer on the surface of the light-emitting diode chip using aerosol deposition.
