The present invention relates to a method of insulating and sealing a cap plate in an electrode of a cell assembly, and a cap plate and an electrode assembly. The assembly includes an electrode terminal which is inserted into a penetration hole formed in the cap plate of a cell assembly; a sealing which is located between the electrode terminal and the cap plate and blocks leakage though the penetration hole when the electrode terminal is compressed; and a compress maintaining part which maintains the compressed state of sealing by allowing the electrode terminal to which a force is applied to compress the sealing. The cap plate and the electrode assembly have a simple structure and is easily manufactured. Especially, a molding part having a buffering function supports an electrode. Thereby, short or separation due to repeated vibration from the outside can be prevented. Reliability is improved. Sealing is improved by a multiple compress protrusion and a compress seal.
