According to an embodiment of the present invention, a system for controlling motion of an object based on a single touch or a multi-touch and a method thereof are disclosed. The method includes the steps of: sensing touch by at least one moving object on a touch panel; determining whether the touch is the single touch or the multi-touch performed in predetermined time by detecting at least one among the intensity of touch pressure, a touch area, and a touch time of the touch; and executing operation according to the single touch or the multi-touch based on the result of determination of the earlier step with respect to the object of motion according to a predetermined operation standard. |
