The present invention relates to a polymer electrolyte fuel cell with a diffusion layer having a multi-layered structure that is made of porous medium that helps delivery of of material, electrons, and heat. The present invention relates to a polymer electrolyte fuel cell with a new type of diffusion layer having a multi-layered structure in the direction of the channel length suitable for the flow characteristics within the fuel cell that can prevent material diffusion and electro-chemical reaction degradation by flooding and induce a regular electro-chemical reaction in the catalyst layer and therefore may improve the performance and durability of the overall fuel cell. |
