<p>An interior lining interface incorporates a decorative interface ring (40) having a substantially flat flange (44) with multiple bearing ring bosses 48) on an inner surface (50) of the flange (44) for engagement of an inner surface (58) of a rim (14) of a window ring (12); multiple friction fit legs (54) extend from the flange (44) and are received within and constraining the interface ring (40) to the widow ring rim (14); a window reveal (18) has a mating surface contacting the flange. A method for establishing a low tolerance interface between a window ring (12) and a window reveal (18) is also disclosed.</p> |
