The present invention relates to a video analysis and a visualization system based on face information. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a human oriented video analysis and a visualization system easily identifying appearance information about a specific person, in which a user is interested within a relatively long video after a face recognition and a classification operation. The present invention to achieve the purpose described above includes: a face region detection unit detecting a face region of every person appearing on an image; a face feature detection unit mapping on a face model by finding face outline, eyes, nose, and mouth region, and feature points around the region within the face region; an interest face detection unit detecting a face identical to the interest face registered by a user within the image; a face change detection unit detecting a delicate change of the face; a facial expression classification unit classifying which expression the detected face region is; a face tracking unit tracking the location of the corresponding face and the change of the face feature on time and spatial axis from detecting every face within the image to tracking the facial expression change after recognizing the interest face; and a face management unit interfacing with a face analysis module including the face region detection unit, the face feature detection unit, the interest face detection unit, the face change detection unit and the face tracking unit, and the facial expression classification unit performing visualization. |
