The present invention relates to an electrolyte for a high-voltage lithium secondary battery and a high-voltage lithium secondary battery comprising the same and, more specifically, to an electrolyte for a high-voltage lithium secondary battery and a high-voltage lithium secondary battery comprising the same, the electrolyte is capable of reducing a battery thickness increase rate and at the same time, has excellent high-temperature storage characteristics by suppressing the generation of gases since the electrolyte does not oxidize or dissolve when left in a high-voltage and high-temperature environment to prevent an expansion of a battery, and also has an excellent discharge characteristic at a low temperature.
