The present invention provides an optical repeater implementing a ring topology through a master unit and a remote unit, and more particularly, an optical repeater which can consistently maintain ring topology through switching of a Tx/Rx function even without adding a separate infrastructure or module, such as a bypass fiber which provides a bypass path or a passive optic switch which bypasses a signal when a specific remote unit among remote units configuring the topology is defective. |
