A glass substrate (1) for a display, and a manufacturing method for the glass substrate. The glass substrate (1) is processed via a vapour deposition device, and comprises an optical compensation film (5). The optical compensation film (5) has higher light transmittance within a compensation area compared to other areas. The shape and position of the compensation area are arranged to correspond to an area on the glass substrate (1) unevenly heated by the vapour deposition device, thereby relieving uneven colour on a display panel. |
