<p>The present invention refers to an electronic device for voting, which receives and prints in an individual manner the votes casted by different users, the device also comprising the possibility of housing an automatic system for processing, backing and counting the casted votes, the same including: a wired control for activating the device at distance; a central processing unit based on a signal digital processor that combines the flexibility of a high-speed controller and the numerical ability of a processor, this unit allowing the device to store the results of a voting or queries performed once said processes are finished, and, on the other hand, to be programmed for a new voting or a new query; this central processing unit also incorporates a communication interface for downloading the data stored in the device by means of a USB port for being subsequently transmitted to a central computer, so as to perform the aforementioned and other tasks, said central processing unit being f ormed by three main blocks of elements, which according to their function have been identified as: data transmission and control block, user interaction and communication block, and operative block; and a poll or vote container arranged along with the central processing unit, where the main function of the poll is to store the evidence of elections that are printed by a printing module included in the central processing unit and protect them in a safe manner until being removed from the device.</p> |
