PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate, in the case of photographing an image corresponding to a specific scene of some scenario, location and check of another image having the same scene information as a scene to photograph from then associated therewith. ! SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus comprises: setting means for setting scene information of an image obtained by photographing; recording means which, after the setting by the setting means, associates the scene information set by the setting means to the image obtained by the photographing and records the image in a recording medium; and control means which, while the setting is performed by the setting means, in the case of reproducing the image recorded in the recording medium, performs control to reproduce an image having the scene information set by the setting means, out of the images recorded in the recording medium. !
