PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning mechanism which can easily enhance the positioning accuracy of a rolling bearing guide device without being influenced by the skill of a worker, the rolling bearing guide device, and a positioning method. ! SOLUTION: A positioning mechanism comprises: a plurality of first recesses (11) which are formed at a portion of a guide rail (2) opposing a part (6) to be attached; second recesses (13) which are formed at a portion of the part (6) to be attached corresponding to the respective first recesses (11) when the guide rail (2) is arranged in a desired position of the part (6) to be attached; and protrusive members (14) which are commonly fit into the first recesses (11) and the second recesses (13), discharge air in the first recesses (11) and the second recesses (13) at the fitting, and have air vent mechanisms. !
