The present invention relates to a method for removing hydrogen sulfide by using Fe-EDTA as medium and includes a fuel battery that absorbs hydrogen sulfide into Fe3+-EDTA solution and recover Fe3+-EDTA and oxidizes hydrogen sulfide into sulfur and electro-chemically oxidizes the recovered Fe2+-EDTA to yield 3-iron-EDTA and resolves the problem with decomposition in the existing EDTA based hydrogen sulfide process and produces electricity.
