PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective focus-assisted image even when a gradation-corrected image is input. ! SOLUTION: An image processing device includes: acquisition means of acquiring image data to which a gradation correction process using first gradation correction characteristics is applied; correction means of applying a gradation correction process using second gradation correction characteristics different from the first gradation correction characteristics to the image data; and generation means of generating a focus-assisted image representing a focusing state from the image data having been corrected, the second gradation correction characteristics having gradation correction characteristics reducing an influence of the first gradation correction characteristics on gradations. !
