PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device capable of recording log data in an appropriate area without allowing a user to feel conscious even when a plurality of recording areas exist, a control method of the imaging device, and a program. ! SOLUTION: The imaging device includes: imaging means; connection means for connecting to a plurality of recording media; setting means for setting at least one of the plurality of recording media as a recording destination of image data generated by the imaging means; holding means for holding log data; and output means for outputting the log data to any of the plurality of recording media. In response to accepting an instruction for resetting of the recording destination of the image data, the output means outputs location information to the recording medium which has been set as the recording destination at the time of the acceptance of the instruction for resetting. !
