PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image capturing optical system capable of splitting light reflected by an object into visible light and invisible light with high precision, and an image capturing device which generates images using the same. ! SOLUTION: An image capturing optical system 10 of an image capturing device includes: a beam splitter 12 which splits light from an object into a first light wavelength component principally containing visible light and a second light wavelength component principally containing invisible light; and a low pass filter 13 which is located in a light path of the first light wavelength component to limit passage of overlapping components between the first and second light wavelength components. !
