SOLUTION: A vehicle control device drives an electric oil pump when a vehicle mounted with the electric oil pump is in an ignition ON state and in an engine stop state, and performs control to determine which of states the vehicle enters, one state being a state in which the electric oil pump is driven for a predetermined time and the rotating speed of the electric oil pump acquired from the electric oil pump is equal to or less than a predetermined speed, and the other state being a state in which the electric oil pump is driven for the predetermined time and the rotating speed exceeds the predetermined speed. !
