The present invention relates to a real time optical network monitoring system, comprising: a measurement module which collects and stores information on reflected lights for a plurality of monitored unit groups in a manner of optical time domain reflectometer; and a monitoring module which is manufactured independently from the measurement module, controls the measurement module via communications therewith, and receives and uses the information on reflected lights stored by the measurement module to monitor a plurality of monitored unit groups, wherein the monitoring module uses the information on reflected lights to determine whether any event or problem occurs in a plurality of monitored groups. |
