In the SC detection mode, rotation-driving of a drive motor is executed while an upper pressure roller and a lower pressure roller are in a pressure contacting state and a brake motor is turned off (S140), and a torque value Y at this time is detected (S150), and next, rotation-driving of the drive motor is executed while the upper pressure roller and the lower pressure roller are in a pressure contacting state and the brake motor is turned on (S170), and a torque value Z at this time is detected (S180). Next, a difference value is calculated by subtracting the torque value Y from the torque value Z, and if the difference value is equal to or larger than a threshold value, the brake motor is determined to be normal, and if the difference value is smaller than the threshold value, the brake motor is determined to be defective (S190). |
